Connected to Flourish supports communities with skills and wisdom so that they may work on interdisciplinary and multi-literate solutions to the challenges Earth faces. These solutions enable a flourishing planet, culture, and future.

VISION

Our fun and hands-on experiences build ecological, digital, and social literacies in youth’s communities. By doing so, we support communities to flourish in a rapidly advancing world while honouring the pace of the planet.

VALUES

Experience: learning occurs as we move through the world with wonder; Exploring the natural, human-created, and interconnections. Thus, education is hands-on and interactive. It involves getting dirty, making mistakes, asking questions, and reflecting.

Creativity: life is inherently creative. We foster creative exploration in all programs with much curiosity about the future. Creativity requires an appreciation for artistic and entrepreneurial endeavours. We encourage reverence, trying new things, and taking risks.

Relationships: we cannot move forward without our connections. Relationships mean being humble, sharing, listening, and appreciating what each other bring. Our programs rely on communities and families to enrich the outcomes. We also value the relationships we have with non-human beings.

Emergence: We trust that solutions to challenges emerge from the collective inter-connected disciplines and collaboration. We lean into trusting each other, offering our whole selves, and not expecting to know all the answers today. When we purposefully bring the people and places together, we see connections flourish, leading to a thriving future for Earth and its people.
